When vegetarians, classic eaters and picks are found at the same table, it is very difficult to reconcile differences and make everyone happy. Even if you are not in the kitchen in your own home ... your anguish has no end. Unless you concentrate on dishes that are made to a proven formula and are done while you say biscuits.
Every Christmas, the same story, there are many different people at the table who too often do not like the same dishes. What to do? How to satisfy all tastes? We have a few simple meal ideas that complete beginners can easily make.
Cold Appetizer 1: Stuffed Eggs
Ingredients:
2 hard boiled eggs
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons mustard
Preparation: Cook the eggs hard, then cut them in half and gently remove the egg yolks with a teaspoon. Then mix with mayonnaise and mustard and season with that pepper and return it to the center of the egg whites. Sprinkle with chopped chives or chili pepper. And you can also decorate them with flax seeds.
Cold Appetizer 2: Tuna Pate
ingredients:
2 hard boiled eggs
2 cans of tuna (or three less)
half bag of mayonnaise, 45 g
soft cheese, such as Zdenko, up to five triangles (can also butter, if you do not want the cheese)
a little lemon or orange juice
salt and pepper as desired
Parmesan
parsley
Preparation: Mix boiled eggs, mayonnaise and tuna with a stick mixer and add a few drops of citrus juice and spices. Parmesan will give the pate a sweeter note and will help it harden if you overdo the juice or accidentally forget to strain the tuna.
Cold Appetizer 3: Cheese and cream
The cheese and cream come in a special package, mixed so you don't have to worry. Make ice cream and cream balls with ice cream and serve with slices of French bread. Season with salt or add chia seeds. Voila!
Hot Appetizer: Refreshments for Santa
Nothing can warm your belly like a good, warm, peppery pumpkin soup.
Ingredients:
squash
bow
3 cloves of garlic
cream
salt, pepper
batat
Preparation: Peel and cut the vegetables into cubes, then boil them in a liter of water. When cooked, grind it with a stick mixer or vegetables and pour the water into a blender and mix. Return the vegetable mass to a fire and add the cooking cream and spices (if desired).
Main course: Green turkey with pancakes
Ingredients:
turkey
butter
oil
spices
Preparation: The rule applies to a turkey - it bakes as many hours as it weighs! To prevent it from being dry, coat the inside and outside with oil before baking. We opted for the green turkey, which was first coated with butter, then olive oil, and then sprinkled with a mix of chives, parsley, Himalayan salt, basil… We put 50 g of butter in the cubes and baked it at 250 degrees for 45 minutes, and then lowered the temperature. Every now and then we poured it with her juice and poured it with water.
grinders:
250 g grinders
water
turkey fat
Preparation: We mixed the boiling water and the fat of the turkey and put some of that juice in the pan first. We grinded on it and broke the mills and poured each 'floor' with liquid. When we reached the top, we covered the mills with foil and put them in the oven with the turkey. We left them there for 15 minutes and served. If the pancakes absorb all the liquid, give them some more juice and leave them warm.
Salad: French salad for everyone
Ingredients:
frozen vegetable mix for French salad, 250 g
mayonnaise
pickles
apples (optional)
Preparation: Cook the vegetable mixture and dice the sliced cucumbers. Put mayonnaise (more or less, depending on how intense the taste you like), pepper, and finally, for those who want a change on the table, add apple cubes to the French salad. It may surprise you with a special and very interesting taste.
With good food and gifts, Christmas cheer will be complete.
